Product Description/Introduction

Tris-HCl balanced salt buffer which referred to as TBS is a commonly used isotonic buffer salt solution in biological research. It has a strong buffering capacity to effectively maintain the pH value of the solution. This product powder is a fine powder which dissolves quickly and is easy to use. It is mainly used in immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, ELISA and other experiments, and cleaning non-specific binding antibodies in Western blotting experiments. The main components of this product are 10 mmol/L Tris, 150 mmol/L NaCl, pH 7.2-7.6 at 25℃.

Storage and Shipping Conditions

Ship at room temperature, store in dry place, valid for 24 months.

Assay Protocol/Procedures

Each package of TBS buffer (dry powder) is thoroughly dissolved in 2000 mL water to obtain TBS buffer; To prepare TBST buffer, TBS buffer (dry powder) is dissolved in distilled water, then add 1 ml of Tween 20 , and the volume is fixed to 2000mL with distilled water to obtain 0.05% TBST buffer.
