Product Description:
10×Red DNA Loading Buffer is a concentrated DNA loading buffer for gel electrophoresis. This pre-mixed loading buffer contains two dyes: a red dye and an orange dye, which serve as tracking dyes during gel electrophoresis. The red dye migrates at approximately 370 bp in 1×TAE buffer and 1% agarose gel, and around 220 bp in 1×TBE buffer and 1% agarose gel. The orange dye migrates below 100 bp in 1×TAE or 1×TBE buffer and 1% agarose gel. This dye does not leave any artifacts during UV imaging. Additionally, the buffer contains EDTA, which chelates divalent metal ions and inhibits metal-dependent nucleases.
Storage and Transportation:
Shipped and stored at room temperature. Shelf life is 24 months.
