Introduction

This product is a mycoplasma inhibitor consisting of three antibiotics, namely quinolones, tetracyclines and macrolides. After optimization and debugging, this product can effectively interfere with the DNA replication and protein synthesis of mycoplasma, so as to prevent mycoplasma contamination in the process of cell culture, and will not affect the cells. This Penicillin Streptomycin can also inhibit gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria and can be used as a replacement for Penicillin Streptomycin in daily cell cultures.


Storage and Handling Conditions

Transport with wet ice; Store at -20℃, avoid repeated freezing and thawing, valid for 12 months.

Usage

1. Add Mycoplasma Prevention Reagent (1000×) to cell medium (containing serum, without double antibody) at a ratio of 1:1000, and mix thoroughly;

2. Cells were cultured according to conventional cell culture procedures.

 


Note

1. This product can inhibit mycoplasma in the process of cell culture. If cells are confirmed to be infected with mycoplasma, it is recommended to use mycoplasma scavenging reagent (recommended G4006, G4007, G4008).

2. The product is stored at -20℃ to avoid repeated freezing and thawing; When added to the medium, it can be stored in 2-8℃ for at least 1 month in the short term.

3. For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves when operating.
