Usage Instructions:
- This product can be used after being shaken well when completely melted at room temperature or 37°C.
- Centrifuge and collect the fused hybridoma cells, discard the supernatant containing residual PEG, and resuspend the cells with this product to the appropriate density (typically, 5-10 plates for mouse or hamster spleen fusion, and 20-30 plates for rat fusion). Then evenly distribute the cells into a 96-well cell culture plate (about 200 μL per well). Hybridoma cell colonies can be observed under a microscope in 4-7 days.
Notes:
- This product is a sterile working solution. Shake well after completely melting at room temperature or 37°C. A small amount of insoluble precipitate after melting is normal.
- One batch of this product can cover 5 plates of a 96-well plate. It is recommended to use the remaining portion after thawing for a single experiment and promptly return it to -20°C storage. Avoid repeated opening and freezing.
- This product is intended for the selection of hybridoma cells after cell fusion and the preparation of mouse monoclonal antibodies. It cannot be used directly for culturing HGPRT-deficient cells such as SP2/0.
- This product has some level of toxicity. Gloves and masks should be worn during operation.
