Description/Introduction
TBE is the most widely used nucleic acid electrophoresis buffer in biology, mainly used for agarose gel electrophoresis of DNA. The main component of TBE is Tris-Borate-EDTA, which has strong buffering capacity, suitable for long-term electrophoresis, high resolution. Fragments smaller than 1kb are better separated by electrophoresis. The borate component in TBE buffer can affect DNA recovery efficiency and subsequent enzymatic reactions. For experiments with agarose gel electrophoresis recovery of DNA fragments, TAE buffer is recommended. This product is a 10× concentrated solution with a working concentration of 1×. If the product precipitates, please dissolve it in 37℃ water bath, which will not affect the use.
Storage and Handling Conditions
Transportation and storage at room temperature, valid for 12 months.
Note
Buffer concentrate should be diluted to 1X working concentration with distilled water or ultrapure water before use.
