Introduction
DMEM, namely Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium, is modified on the basis of MEM medium and can be divided into low glucose and high glucose according to different glucose content. DMEM low glucose medium is suitable for the culture of slow metabolic and dependent adherent cells.
This product contains amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts and other ingredients required for cell culture, without protein or growth factors. Cells were cultured with 5-10% serum or serum-free additives, depending on the cell type.
This product is filtered and sterilized by 0.1 μm filter membrane, pH 7.0-7.4, containing 5.5 mM D-glucose, no L-glutamine and sodium pyruvate, added phenol red indicator, containing 25 mM HEPES buffer system.
HEPES is an excellent biological buffering agent with no toxic effect on cells. The medium supplemented with HEPES can maintain a constant pH range for a long time.
Storage and Handling Conditions
Transport at room temperature; Store at 2-8℃, valid for 12 months.
Note
1. This product has been filtered and sterilized. Attention should be paid to aseptic operation during use to avoid contamination;;
2. In order to maintain the best use effect, do not freeze and thaw repeatedly.
