Introduction
DMEM/High Glucose Medium (DMEM), Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM), is a modified medium based on MEM, which has been widely used in the culture of various cells. DMEM high glucose medium is generally used in cells with fast growth and low adhesion. It can be used in the culture of a variety of mammalian primary cells, such as primary fibroblasts, nerve cells, glial cells, HUVEC, smooth muscle cells, etc. It can also be used in the culture of some cell lines, such as Hela, 293, Cos-7 and PC-12, etc.
This product contains amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts and other ingredients required for cell culture, without protein or growth factors. Cells were cultured with 5-10% serum or serum-free additives, depending on the cell type.
The product is sterilized by 0.1μm filter membrane, pH 7.0-7.4, contains 25 mM D-glucose, phenol red indicator, and 25 mM HEPES buffer system. L-glutamine and sodium pyruvate were not added.
HEPES is an excellent biological buffering agent with no toxic effect on cells. The medium supplemented with HEPES can maintain a constant pH range for a long time.
Storage and Handling Conditions
Transport at room temperature; Store at 2-8℃, valid for 12 months.
Note
1. This product has been filtered and sterilized. Attention should be paid to aseptic operation during use to avoid contamination;;
2. In order to maintain the best use effect, do not freeze and thaw repeatedly.
