For long-term in vivo safety studies, rabbits with implanted HHF for different durations were euthanized. After fixation of joint tissues containing HHF, sections were subjected to morphological staining using HE staining solution (Servicebio, G1005) and Masson’s trichrome staining solution (Servicebio, G1006). For immunohistochemical staining, the primary antibody used was Anti-F4/80 Rabbit pAb (Servicebio, GB11027), the secondary antibody was Fluorescein-labeled Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (Servicebio, GB25303), and cell nuclei were labeled using DAPI staining reagent (ready-to-use) (Servicebio, G1012)
